Setup instructions and feature overview

Allow your customers access to all of their past history so they can track orders, review products, and earn money referring more customers to your site –all in a branded and customizable dashboard!

Setup & Installation

  1. Find the “Customer Portals by Monto” app in the app store and click Install.

  2. In the Monto app, go to the Settings > Options page in the bottom left menu. Here you can upload your shop’s logo which will appear in your affiliate emails. You can also set your custom subdomain which is where customers can login to the portal.

  3. On the Customize page, customize the customer portal to match your brand and ensure it fits with your voice. Edit the portal colors, add your brand’s social media links, edit the intro message, and more!

  4. On the Configure page, you can choose whether to allow subscribers to pause/cancel subscriptions, let customers review past orders, and decide who you want to make the downloads tab visible to.

  5. We recommend adding your custom subdomain link to your site’s menu or footer so that your customers can easily find the portal. You can also add it to order confirmation emails to immediately notify them once they checkout.

  6. Add Downloadable Files to the Portal (optional) - Whether you’re providing software to customers or marketing materials to affiliates, the download tab lets you upload files that your customers can access.

  7. Post Announcements to your Customers (optional) - The announcements tab lets you post information that is visible to any customer who visits the portal. This can be used for marketing efforts to notify customers about an upcoming sale or products that might be going out of stock soon and should be purchased fast!

Common Questions

How can customers access their customer portal?

The login page for the customer portal can be found in the Settings > Options page in the bottom left menu. Here you can set the custom subdomain for your store. This is the login page for customers. We recommend adding this to your site’s menu or footer and also in order confirmation emails.

How can I style the Customer Portal to match my brand?
