The customer portal downloads tab can be useful for many different use cases. You could use it for providing affiliates with banner ads they can upload on their site & share on social media, you could use it to provide a software application to subscribers, etc.

To control who can see the downloads tab, go to the configure tab in Monto's Customer Portal app.

Here you can check or uncheck boxes to set who you want to be able to view and download the files you upload. By default, the tab is visible to anyone who has either placed an order in the past (customer), is an affiliate, or a subscriber.

Currently this only controls the visibility of the entire downloads tab. But soon we will enable the option to set visibility on a per file basis.
