By default, Webflow and Monto both assume that taxes will be added onto the product price before checkout.
Default Example in Monto:
However, if you want your product prices to include tax, you need to enable this setting in Webflow.
In the Webflow designer, go to:
Settings > Ecommerce > Taxes and turn on the toggle that says "I've included all taxes in my prices."
Once this is enabled, Monto & Webflow will know that your prices include the taxes and will back out that tax amount from the total price automatically!
