Setting up Ways to Redeem in the Loyalty App
Updated over a week ago

When you first add the Loyalty Rewards app to your Monto account, there will be no redemption options setup – this is so you can customize it for what makes sense for your store!

Click the "Add Redemption Option" button in the top right.

This will create a new blank redemption option with the following options:

  • Points to Redeem: This is the number of points customers must spend to 'purchase' this coupon or gift

  • Name: This is the name of the redemption option which will be visible to customers in the portal so make sure it is clear (ex: $5 Off Coupon)

  • Redemption Type: A coupon code or a gift. A coupon code is immediately visible to the customer. A gift is a product or reward which you must send manually

    • Coupon Codes

      • Method: Manual or Automatic. Automatic coupon codes are automatically generated and unique. Manual codes must first be created by you and will be used by all customers. Learn more here

      • Type (Automatic only): Flat, Percentage, or Free Shipping

      • Coupon Value (Automatic only): The value of the flat amount or percentage off

      • Coupon Code (Manual only): The coupon code which will be sent to customers

    • Gift

      • Redemption Message: This is the message which is displayed to customers after they redeem points for a gift

  • Image (optional): This image is displayed above the redemption option on the customer portal to give an example of the reward.

Once you have filled out all the fields, click Save.

Then be sure to toggle it on in the top right hand so it turns green and is then able to be used by customers!

Here is how the Ways to Redeem look on the loyalty portal to your customers.

The titles and buttons will become opaque when the customer has enough points to purchase the item.

As customers redeem their points, you'll see these stats reflected under each option. It also will show you the revenue generated from sales using that coupon.
