When a new affiliate is added to your shop (whether by them signing up, from you adding them manually, or automatically from making a purchase - if enabled), then Monto sends them a welcome email.

The welcome email lets them know they've been added as an affiliate and the commission rate that they will earn for any sales (or forms) they send your way.

By default, emails are turned on. To disable it, go to the Affiliates > Configure tab and turn off the setting called "Send Welcome Emails to New Affiliates"
