IMPORTANT: Webflow is removing support for their v1 API in March 2025. Any Monto store that hasn't been updated to v2 at that time will no longer function properly.
Here is how to update to Webflow API v2 in Monto and use our new designer extension as well!
Monto's new Webflow designer extension allows you to modify and add Monto functionality directly in Webflow itself
Step 1
In Monto, click the site name in the top left menu and click "Add Site" from the dropdown.
Step 2
In the Webflow authorization screen, choose the site you had previously connected to your Monto account. Click "Authorize Application"
Important: Do not choose a different Webflow site than you have been using for that specific Monto shop
Step 3
On the next screen, click the box that says "Update or Reconnect an Existing Site" this will ensure you are not creating a new shop on your account.
Step 4
Be sure the Webflow and Monto shop names are correct. Click Update.
Step 5
Now you can go back into the Webflow designer, click on the app icon in the lefthand sidebar and open the Monto extension!
