My cart is empty when I click on the abandoned cart email

An empty cart can happen for a few reasons. If none of these apply to you please reach out and we'll try to diagnose the issue!

#1: Incognito Window

If you used an incognito window in your browser when shopping or when opening the ACR email link, then your cart will be empty because an incognito window doesn't save cookies which carts use to keep your shopping items.

#2 Different Browser

If you used two different browsers (Chrome vs Firefox) or sometimes different devices (laptop vs phone) when shopping or when opening the ACR link, then your cart cannot be transferred between them because cookies are saved on each browser.

#3 Browser Cookies are Turned Off

If your browser has the cookies turned off, then carts cannot be saved. Cookies are used to carry information from one internet session to another. We recommend keeping them on. Find instructions how here.

#4 Items Removed from Cart

If you removed the items from your cart shortly before the ACR email was sent, then it might not register the change in time and your cart would be empty.
