While our two review widgets (stars widget and reviews widget) are built to work on an E-commerce product page, they also have the capability to be used on a CMS collection item as well. This is great if you use CMS collections for things like recipes, service providers, or authors, etc. Customers can review each one individually!
The process for inserting and using the Review widgets are exactly the same.
Show Individual Reviews for each CMS Items
If using Webflow, generate the code using the embed code generator.
โ(If using Duda, use the Monto Reviews widget and drag it onto your page)
โ
You can find the reviews code generator here.
Select the review layout you want. You can see a preview of them all in the embed code generator or a more full explanation here.
Use the first option in the "choose the item to review" dropdown:
Default: The current page's product or CMS item
Then, copy the generated code and insert it on your Webflow CMS page using the embed code block.
Show All Reviews for a CMS Collection
Generate the code using the embed code generator.
You can find the reviews embed code generator on the reviews > setup tab.
To make your review widget display reviews for an entire collection (such as products or a CMS collection), click the "Choose the item to review" dropdown and select: An Entire Collection
Then simply select the collection you want to review from the secondary dropdown that displays to the right of the dropdown.
Copy the generated code and insert in your site using an embed widget.
